Empowering Tribal Communities through Rainwater Harvesting

Under the PALAVI FOUNDATION’s CSR initiative, funded by Emirates Logistics India Pvt. Ltd., 30 water tanks (2000 litres each) were distributed in Chakkichapada, Taluka Shahpur, on April 20, 2024. This project addresses the severe water shortage faced by the tribal villagers, who previously lacked a reliable water source.

Special thanks to Sharad Kamble Sir and Charudatta Kolarkar of the Mauli Foundation for their crucial role in this effort. The tanks will provide essential water storage after the rainy season, greatly benefiting the villagers.

In addition to the water tanks, other initiatives are underway to resolve water scarcity issues in the area. This project exemplifies the positive impact of corporate social responsibility on underserved communities, highlighting the importance of sustainable solutions and collaborative efforts.
