The event took place across the villages of Kamdipada, Dhobipada, Kolipada, and Vihigaon in Kasara, bringing together community members and volunteers for a greener future. Over the two days, a total of 450 plants were meticulously planted. The selection of plants included Kesar Mango, Cashew, Jackfruit, Jamun, Drumstick, Papaya, Tamarind, Guava, Pomegranate, Lemon, Neem, Banyan, and other eco-friendly species. These plants were chosen not only for their environmental benefits but also for their potential to provide a sustainable source of income for the local villagers. To ensure the survival and growth of the plants, several measures were implemented. Each plant was secured with netting and fencing to protect them from animals. Additionally, water provision was already available in all the villages, making it easier for the plants to thrive. PALAVI FOUNDATION has assigned a dedicated person to oversee the care and maintenance of the plants, ensuring their long-term well-being. The success of this plantation drive would not have been possible without the unwavering support and motivation from the community. Special thanks go to Sheetal Gada, Sharad Kamble Sir, and the entire PALAVI FOUNDATION family for their contributions and dedication to this noble cause.
