In a remarkable display of compassion and collaboration, the Palavi Foundation and Sahachari Foundation have come together to support Mr. Shabbir Shaikh, a 22-year-old individual whose medical case has resurfaced after 12 years. Mr. Shaikh, who underwent surgery in 2012, now finds himself in need of a battery replacement for his Congenital Complete Heart Block (CHB) post Cardiac Resynchronization Therapy – Pacemaker (CRT-P) procedure, along with Epicardial load management.
Following his successful surgery at KEM Hospital, Mr. Shaikh faced the daunting challenge of financing the necessary treatment and operation expenses, estimated at Rs. 2,75,500. Graciously stepping in to offer a lifeline, Sahachari Foundation extended their support by generously donating the full amount directly to KEM Hospital. This act of generosity has paved the way for Mr. Shaikh to receive the urgent medical attention he requires.
Recognizing the importance of comprehensive support, Palavi Foundation, based in Mumbai, has shouldered additional expenses associated with Mr. Shaikh’s medical journey. With a contribution of Rs. 35,000, Palavi Foundation has managed various ancillary costs, including BMC charges, post-operation expenses, medications, and transportation, ensuring that Mr. Shaikh’s journey towards recovery is smooth and uninterrupted.
